Location:
Located just above downtown Bryson City, in a wooded setting that maintains the secluded feeling of a mountain cabin and opens to the beautiful view of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park's mountains. The shops and restaurants of Bryson City are within a mile away. Some of the GSMNP most popular waterfalls are about 7 minutes away. The Oconoluftee visitors center entrance of GSMNP is about 20 minutes away in cherokee. All paved easy access roads to this mountain vacation home.
Exterior:
The paved road up from Bryson City end at on of two parking areas, one right next to the front door and the other in front of the lower level garage. As you park near the front door the mountain view begins to show. The steps to the front door also give access to the large rear open deck where the mountain view opens to it fullest extent. Stop here in the log rocking chairs and explore the mountain view. The deck continues around to the side yard creating a secluded setting for the hot tub. Sitting in the warm massaging waters of the hot tub while watching the clouds drift across a beautiful smoky mountain view is truly an effective way to unwind from a stressful work week. The garage on the lower level is open to protect your bike or convertible from an unexpected rain shower.
Entry Level:
The front door opens to a cathedral ceilinged great room. To the left the dining table seats 6 guest across from the mountain view through the glass doors. The living room is across from the dining area. A stone gas log fireplace and the mountain views through the Cathedral picture windows set the mood of this relaxing and easily accessible vacation home. A satellite TV and comfortable sleeper sofa complete the living room. To the right of the front door is the full kitchen with full size appliances including a dishwasher and all cooking and dining utensils are stocked and clean. A door of the kitchen leads to the 2nd bedroom with a queen bed. Another door off the kitchen is the full bath of the entry level. Stairs to the loft begin in the living room.
Upper Level / Loft:
The open loft bedroom has a king size bed where the mountain view will greet you every morning. A full private bath is also in the loft.
Lower Level: Follow the stair from the kitchen down to the lower level where the garage is to the right and the family room is to the left. Family room has a large flat screen TV and Futon; but the most fun part of the family room is the multi classic video game console. A full bath is also to right of the stairs( shower only).
