This two story Cherokee NC log cabin rental is tucked in a secluded wooded corner of mountain view estates.	The professionally cleaned and maintained hot tub is in a gazebo on the upper deck across from the fireplace and master bedroom.	Have a great evening meal by a fire place in the fresh cherokee nc smoky mountain air.	The lower floor has a large game room with log pool table, electronic dart board satellite tv and enough room to play.


The warm gas log fireplace is surrounded by leather sleeper sofas and the cherokee mountain view and is below a satellite TV and DVD player.	The dining table seats 6 guest and is open to the fireplace and the cherokee mountain views.	The large master bedroom has a satellite tv and access to the upper deck and hot tub.	The master bedroom has a king size bed, cathedral ceiling,private bath with jetted tub.


The second bedroom on the lower level has a queen size bed and Satellite TV DVD player.	Two twin size bunk beds and satellite TV DVD player in the third bedroom on the lower level .	Kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a dish washer and breakfast bar for three guest. All cooking and dining utensils included.	Paved access all the way to the front door of this log cabin.

Location:

Bear Moon Log Cabin has the most private location within the gated community of Mountain View Estates. The Cherokee NC location of this log cabin means that it is just a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, downtown Cherokee and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Bryson City is about a 10 minute scenic drive away. White water rafting on the Nantahala river is around a 25 minute ride through some of the most scenic roads of North Carolina. All the roads leading to and from this cabin are paved.

Exterior:
The forested property surrounding this contemporary real log cabin gives it a feeling of mountain isolation; yet civilization and the rest of Mountain View Estates is just around a bend in the road. The paved driveway leads up to two parking levels; the lower level by the game room or up around the back of the cabin next to the stairs leading to the front door. The side porch continues past the front door to the large open front porch of the entry level. Here the fresh mountain air and the peaceful sounds of birds in the surrounding trees will invite you to sit in one of the rocking chairs for a while. The front deck continues around to another covered section of deck across from the master bedroom. Here sheltered from the sun and rain is an outdoor gas log fire place and dinning table. After you have enjoyed a quiet evening meal fireside, you can move across to the gazebo and slip into the hot tub to finish off the night. The lower level covered porch is accessed from either of the lower bedrooms or the game room. Gather the family around the fire pit in the yard to roast marshmallows.

Entry Level:

The front door enters between the Dinning room and kitchen. As you enter Bear Moon drop your keys on the breakfast bar to your right. then stop to notice how the view of the forest through the dual sliding glass doors and real log walls create a relaxing peace that only a real mountain log cabin can create. The full modern kitchen is to your right. It is fully stocked with all cooking and dinning utensils, garnet counter tops, and stainless steel appliances including a dish washer to help with clean up. The Dinning table seats 6 guest and is across from the kitchen with a view of the fireplace in the living room. In the living room area a comfortable sleeper sofa and love seat set in front of the satellite TV which is over the stone gas log fireplace. The door to the master Bedroom is to the right of the fireplace. The master bedroom has natural wood walls, cathedral ceiling, King size log style bed and private bath. Sliding glass doors open to the outdoor fireplace and hot tub on the deck. The stairs to the lower level are next to the kitchen.

Lower Level:

At the Bottom of the stairs a hall leads to the two bedrooms, full bath and game room. The first bedroom on the left has a queen size bed, satellite TV, and sliding glass door access to the lower patio. The next room is the kids room. The two twin size bunk beds give the kids the staying at camp feel. A satellite TV will help to keep them entertained. Across from the bedrooms is a full bath. At the end of the hall is everyone's favorite room, the game room. A full size log style pool table sits in the center of the room. A dart board is mounted and ready for a game of cricket. The satellite TV on the wall so you can still catch the big game. Sliding glass door lead out to the lower covered patio and the lower parking area..

11/10 We loved Bear Moon cabin! Our family enjoyed the week so much. We had everything we needed. Made some great meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and used the grill too. We had so much fun learning to play pool! The hot tub was great for relaxing th evenings away. We took several day trips, rode the train, hiked to the waterfalls at Deep Creek, visited the many attractions in Cherokee, and explored the small towns nearby. Everyone we met was very friendly and full of ideas of things to see while we were here. Driving through the Smoky Mountains was a real treat. We took so many pictures! Loved seeing all the wildlife. 10/10 Your home is beautiful and the scenery breathtaking. We have watched the leaves change colors this week - took a picture each day to record the change - awesome colors. Our family time here has been special, a most enjoyable and comfortable "home away from home." We loved hiking on the mountain, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub and just admiring the beauty all around the cabin. We came to the biker rally in Cherokee and this was so close and convenient for us to leave the rally and just come here for peace and quite. This trip has been five star for sure. 1/09 Your home is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. It's comfortable and we loved the smell of pine throughout. When we went to bed last night we were shocked to see snow starting to fall, but we sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the beauty of it all. We were so comfy in your home! This was the most peaceful, romantic and loving getaway that we've ever had in our ten years of marriage - and its all because of your home! Next time the kids need to be here and we will all sleep in the bunk beds and have our own family sleep over! Tom and Mary Maryland
