Alarka's Lure mountain cabin offers the convenience of garage parking.	The private out door hot tub is a great place to unwind in the fresh cool mountain air.	Alarka's Lure is located on the bank of the wide cool Alarka Creek.	Alarka Creek is a Beautiful wide mountain trout creek and an excellent fishing spot.


Cross the private gated bridge over Alarka Creek.	Listen to the sounds of a rushing mountain creek as you cookout in the yard.	The sunroom is a cool relaxing spot to escape to when the summer sun is bright and hot.	The cedar paneled sunroom has enough seating for everyone to enjoy the cool fresh air and sounds of Alarka Creek


Casual lining room with satellite TV	Wood burning stove in the living room helps warm the cabin on cool winter nights.	Fully equipped Kitchen is ready to prepare your favorite meals.	The dining table seats 6 guest for that long over due quiet family diner.


Queen size bed in the master bedroom on the entry level.	2 full size beds in the third bedroom.	full size bed in the upstairs second bedroom .

Location:
Alarka'a Lure cabin is aproxamtly 15 minutes from Bryson City and the Deep Creek entrace , about 30 minutes from the Cherokee entrance of the Great Smoky mountain national park. The Alpine style, the sounds of Alarka creek and the smells of cedar and evergreen all combine to instantly transport you to a truly relaxing mountain getaway; leaving the rest of the busy world miles away. This cabin is on the bank of the Alarka Creek; a beautiful natural mountain trout creek.

Exterior:
The private gated steel bridge over alarka creek ends in a flat gravel parking area that is well maintained and large enough to easily turn around in. The garage is accessible and will easily protect 2 vehicles. A picnic table and charcoal grill are off to the side of the parking area down by the creek. The elevated deck is open the warmth of the tree filtered sun; Where a large relaxing hot tub awaits you and guest.

Living / Main Level:
The stairs from the lower garage lead up to the cedar paneled sun room. There is enough seating in the sun room for all of your guest to enjoy the fresh mountain air and sounds of Alarka creek. The door to the living area is in the sunroom. The living area is decorated in an classic LL. Bean fly fisherman's decor that creates a warm and casual atmosphere. The living room has two comfortable sofas and a satellite tv. The adriatic feel of the cabin is complimented by a cast iron wood burning stove that sits under the stairs to the upper floor bedroom. The living area is open to the Kitchen and dining areas. The full kitchen is equipped with all cooking utensils, coffee maker, microwave , but does not have a dishwasher. The private master bedroom with a queen size bed is down a short halway from the living room. This halway also leads to two full baths. One bath has both a shower and tub. Theother bath has a shower only.

Upper Level :
The stairs from the lliving room end between two bed rooms. The bedroom toworads the front of the house has a full size bed. The bedroom towards the back of the house has two full size beds. There is a half bath room on this floor.

Lower Level:

The front door of Alarka's lure is on the lower level easily accessed from the parking area. This door opens to the garage which is the whole lower level of the house. The garage is a great place to park your vehicles to keep them out of the elements. So if you don't want to put the top back up on you convertible or just want to keep the seats of your bike dry, Alarka's Lure has just the place. In the garage area there is a second front door that opens to the stairs to the main level. .

11/10 We came down as a family, We cooked and laughed. The highlight was watching the train go by the house. The cabin is beautiful, so is the bridge and creek. We had a great time. The hot tub is so soothing out on the deck, its a great place to hang out. We enjoyed the wood stove and had plenty of firewood. We loved walking down by the creek and tossing rocks. The is a neat area, lots to see and do. We visited the train museum in Bryson City, as well as some of the other shops. Great location, hope to be back. Molly, Joel, Heather, and Paul South Caroina
8/10 Alarka's Lure is a great cabin, very clean and cozy here. We loved the decor, it feels like a fishing lodge, and that's just what we did! Fished the creek and at the nearby lake. Did some swimming too. The cabin we well equipped and we had everything we needed, a great place to rest at the end of our busy days. The hot tub and fire pit were both a lot of fun too. 7/10 This is a treasure in the mountains! We loved the cabin and the area. Feeling so alive and rejuvenated after our stay here. We were comfortable and happy to just stay at the cabin! We did visit the lake and had fun swimming, didn't bring our fishing gear, so we will have to come back! We loved the fire pit and roasting marshmallows was a real treat that we haven't enjoyed in a log time. 6/9/10 Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. It was so nice to get away and enjoy some down time. Even though we enjoyed the Internet, we were "unplugged" most of the time. This is a great place to get away and enjoy nature. The creek is so peaceful, we saw some trout under the bridge. We really enjoyed the grill and picnic table next to the creek. Just hearing the sound of the water rushing by, loved it! Its great to feel so secluded, but only be minutes from town. We all had a great time as a family. Rob, Jess, Alex and Jason Tampa, FL
5/10 This is our second time staying with Carolina Mountain Vacations. We picked this cabin out on the Internet and we are so pleased! Everything is even better than we hoped! Being right next to the creek is great! Relaxing in the hot tub under the trees is so nice in the spring weather. We enjoyed the cabin and being together as a family was wonderful. We all had plenty of space and loved the room out from the living room, it was a great place to visit and play games together. Thank you for having such a special place here in the Smokies.
